Janice Kenefick is a former Merchant Navy officer and journalist. Her short stories have won writers’ contests in Britain and Canada. She also writes freelance articles for publication. Her first novel, inspired by her work in Antarctica. is about the female chief officer of a vessel taking an expedition to the most dangerous island on the planet.
